iii design compact studio
iii design compact was founded in Berlin during the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020 by three designers who graduated from the University of the Arts Berlin(Xueqi Huangfu, Dong Liu, Yuhang Ke). Out of a shared love for design, iii design compact works as a design club and group on interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary creative design research projects.
Xueqi Huangfu
is a designer from China, now based in Berlin (Udk). In the design and development of new projects, her focus is how to find the inspiration for the design from the small parts of life, how to make full use of the characteristics of materials to create a new and unexpected design.
Dong Liu
is a Designer/Artist/Thinker/Maker from Beijing. He graduated from the University of the Arts Berlin in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Product Design. In his design process, he focuses on speculatively thinking about society, culture, future, and tries to combine new technologies in his creations. He currently lives and works in Berlin.
Yuhang Ke
completed his bachelor’s degree in product design at the Visual Arts College of Fudan University in Shanghai in 2016. During his Bachelor, he has accumulated work experience in different design studios. He finished his product design master degree in University of Art Berlin in 2021. He currently works as a full-time Industrial Designer in Razor Group Berlin.
